Main Sports Hall

Our centrepiece facility is a full-size indoor sports hall with a sprung timber floor, ideal for basketball, badminton, indoor football, and a wide range of other activities. It doubles as a superb community venue for concerts, drama productions, school events, and large gatherings thanks to its built-in stage.

The hall is equipped with a kitchen, and separate changing rooms with showers are located in the adjoining building.

Meeting Room 1 (Upstairs)

A comfortable and well-lit upstairs meeting room suited to smaller group activities, yoga classes, art workshops, training sessions, and committee meetings. The room offers a quieter environment away from the bustle of the main hall.

Currently home to a variety of weekly yoga and art classes, as well as school and committee use.

An upstairs room that serves as a regular base for the Scout Group and other community organisations. Well-suited to youth activities, club meetings, and community group sessions.

Handball Alley

A purpose-built handball alley opened in 2018, providing a fantastic dedicated facility for Claregalway GAA's handball teams. The alley serves both recreational and competitive handball and is a welcome addition to the centre's sports offering.

Naíonra Clúidín na mBabaí

Our second building is home to Naíonra Clúidín na mBabaí, a beloved Irish-medium preschool serving families across the parish. The preschool provides a warm and stimulating environment where young children begin their education through the Irish language.
